Zofia is a composer, musician, vocalist and sound designer from Montreal, Canada. With a rich background of musical experience and training in both classical music techniques, as well as modern audio technology, creating a meaningful sonic experience is her main concern. Her art attempts to trigger emotions, evoke ideas and color the way you, as a listener, experience the world.

Born into a family of musicians, Zofia was immersed into music and art at a very young age. Piano and singing were a regular activity for as long as she can remember. She started learning to play Violin as early as 5 years old. Her childhood is filled with experiences in Choirs, Stage Performance, Theatre and Dance. She attended F.A.C.E. school in Montreal where the curriculum is focused on music and the arts. In addition to the compulsory art courses, after school bands and activities allowed her to expand on her classical training, learning to play guitar and perform in various styles.

While in Cegep, she pursued private voice coaching at JAM Vocal School under Jennifer Meade, and continued performing at events. While performing was always a natural endeavor, her interest in creation led her towards wanting to write, recording and producing her own music. She completed an AEC in Audio Production and Sound Recording at Musitechnic in 2008. Experimenting with sound manipulation and arranging, her interest for film and video game scoring led her to return to the books in 2015, when she enrolled into the Music Major at Concordia University. She’s since refined her composition skills and honed her sound.

An avid reader, cinephile and art lover, Zofia’s passion for music and art is truly relentless. To her music and sound are highly visual and can carry intense emotional power. Whether composing for the screen, scoring a live perfomance or writing the next hit song, Zofia paints a vivid picture with her sonic creations.
